A group of Spanish River High School students spent Saturday morning picking up trash and removing invasive non-native plants in Delray Beach.
They started with the walking and hiking trails at Delray Oaks Natural Area. The teens got a lesson on which plants are good for the environment and which are not.
The volunteers filled 7 garbage bags with trash and plants.
