A Tennessee teen who was believed to be kidnapped and held hostage by her father has been found safe in Alabama.
Authorities are reporting that 18-year-old Daphne Westbrook was located earlier this week in the Samson area.
Westbrook was reportedly taken by her father in 2019 after a scheduled visit to his home.
Officials believed the teen was moved to an area in Florida where she was being drugged and prevented from communicating with the outside world.
After an amber alert, the pair where spotted in Fort Walton Beach, Florida on March 6th driving in a 1971 Volkswagen Beetle with no license plate and no windshield.
It is unclear if her father John Oliver Westbrook was located or taken into custody.
