Teen accused of killing 13-year-old classmate snapchats from police car

Authorities are reporting that a teen who is accused of killing his 13-year-old classmate, may have used his Snapchat account to poke fun at the situation before he was officially charged.

13-year-old Tristyn Bailey was reported missing by her family on Sunday around 4:00 p.m. after she had not been seen since 1:15 p.m. at a community center.

After an investigation, authorities were led to her classmate Aiden Fucci.

Officials say the placed the accused, Aiden Fucci in the back of a cop car as they searched for his missing classmate near his home. At some point during the search, Fucci was said to have posted a picture of himself inside of a police vehicle with a peace sign and the caption, ‘Hey guys has anybody seen Tristyn lately’.

Bailey’s body was later found in a wooded area near Fucci’s home.

Authorities did not say how she died but reported that she was fully clothed in a dark top and a white cheer skirt.

Aiden Fucci has been charged with second-degree murder. Officials are now working to decide if Fucci will be charged as a juvenile or adult.

They also reported that the image is part of their investigation.
