WEST PALM BEACH, FL– Three people were hospitalized after a targeted shooting in West Palm Beach.
The shooting occurred shortly before 1:30 p.m. along 45th Street between Military Trail and Village Boulevard.
West Palm Beach police Public Information Officer Mike Jachles, told reporters that the shooting occurred following an ongoing dispute between two vehicles.
According to the report, the two vehicles involved in the dispute were traveling along 45th street when an innocent victim swerved into one of the vehicles.
The suspects in the vehicle that was not involved in the crash, then exited their vehicle and opened fire on the vehicle they were disputing with.
It is unclear if gunfire was exchanged between both vehicles, but authorities reported that they found more than 45 rounds of stray bullets.

“There were upwards of 45 rounds that were recovered on 45th Street in the middle of a busy day,” Jachles said. “This certainly could have been much worse. We were fortunate and the West Palm Beach Police Department is committed to getting these guns out of the wrong hands.”

The innocent victim was taken to a hospital with minor injuries.
The two victims in the other car were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening gunshot wounds.
Officials say both victims are in their 20s and are not cooperating with detectives.
