West Palm Beach police are reporting that a man wanted for murder was found dead by suicide Monday night.

The body of the 46-year-old was found around 7:00 pm by a Police K-9 in the 600 block of Executive Center Drive.

According to the report, police began looking for the suspect after his estranged wife was found dead inside of their apartment in Winter Garden around 3:15 p.m. that day.  Authorities say they found her body after performing a welfare check at the residence.

Friends of the victim told police they were concerned about her wellbeing after receiving messages from her estranged husband saying that she was dead and that he claimed responsibility for her murder.

With the help of the Palm Beach County Sheriffs Office and West Palm Beach Police, the suspect was found to have fled to West Palm Beach where he hung himself with his own shirt.
