Suspect in terror attack in New Zealand killed by police

A suspected terrorist is dead after a stabbing attack at a New Zealand supermarket in Auckland. Six people were wounded, several seriously, before police opened fire, killing the suspect.
The Sri Lankan national was inspired by ISIS and well known to New Zealand authorities.

So well known in fact that he had been under round-the-clock surveillance and was able to be taken down within 60 seconds of the first stabbing.

Apparently, the attacker arrived in New Zealand in 2011 and they couldn’t legally put him in jail before the attack but during the attack, they put him down.
