
One person has been taken into custody following a school shooting in Detroit.
The incident occurred at the Oxford High School around 1:00 p.m.
Officials say four to six victims where injured during the incident.
At least one of the victims was said to have been shot in the face.
“This afternoon there was an active shooter at Oxford High School. Oakland County Sheriff’s Department has secured the scene. Oxford High School students and staff are systematically being evacuated to the Meijer Garden Center and may be picked up there. Any students with their own transportation have been allowed to leave. All other district schools are in lockdown for safety purposes and are in no danger.”
The school still remains on lockdown as authorities continue to search the halls.
