One person is in custody after a police chase in Broward County.
According to the report, authorities attempted to conduct a traffic stop on a Jeep Wrangler around 10:00 am, however, the driver refused to stop.
The driver of the vehicle then sped westbound down Oakland Park Boulevard where they continued onto Interstate 95 followed several police cruisers.
Several minutes into the police chase, police conducted a pit maneuver which caused the Jeep to flip over on its side and ended the police chase.
The driver was then pulled from the vehicle through the sunroof and taken into custody.
All northbound I-95 lanes have been shut down just north of Hillsboro Boulevard where the chase ended.
Drivers are being advised to seek alternate routes.
