Not a good day for FPL customers.

Florida residents are known for having back up generators, and I hope some of these people have invested in one.

You never know when the Florida weather will turn on you.

Many customers were without power due to strong storms knocking out power across South Florida on Sunday.

According to FPL’s Power Tracker, as of 3:39 p.m. 32,072 customers in Palm Beach County were dealing with a power outage, while 7,874 were affected in Martin County.

WPTV First Alert meteorologists reported downed trees from high winds and the “snuggle alert flag pole” down.
