Washington State Patrol officials are reporting that one of their troopers pulled over a moving van with a car hanging out the back of it.
The situation unfolded along State Route 97, just north of Okanogan in central Washington.
Authorities say a trooper noticed the SUV hanging out the back of a small U-Haul truck and conducted a traffic stop on Tuesday.
The driver was cited for failing to secure a load and fined $139 according to reports.
Authorities also reported that the driver did not have a valid license and the U-Haul was long past due.
In a tweet about the situation, authorities reminded the public about using safe methods to transport items during moving season.
