Starbucks is reversing its COVID-19 vaccination policy for employees.
The announcement was made earlier this week after the Biden Administration sent out a memo requiring businesses with more than 100 employees to require the employees to get the COVID-19 vaccination.
Employees had to be vaccinated by Feb. 9 or face a weekly COVID-19 test requirement.
The Supreme court, however, recently ruled against the mandate.
Several companies have since reversed their requirements as well including Starbucks:
“We respect the court’s ruling and will comply,” Starbucks’ chief operating officer John Culver said in a memo, according to The Associated Press.
Starbucks has around 228,000 U.S employees, however, it is unclear how many of those employees were vaccinated.
