House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s husband, Paul, 82, was busted in California this Memorial Day weekend for driving drunk.

Paul Pelosi was pulled over just before midnight in Napa County, California, and is charged with two misdemeanors:  one count of driving under the influence and another for driving with a blood alcohol content level of 0.08 or higher, according to public records.

The California Democrat’s husband was booked around 4:00 a.m. and released a few hours later Sunday morning, the online records show.

Pelosi’s bail had been set at $5,000.
Speaker Pelosi was in Rhode Island delivering a commencement address at Brown University and declined to comment on the “private manner.”
