(MARATHON, FL)– A 30-year-old woman was arrested after she allegedly threatened her ex-husband with a butcher knife.
The victim contacted the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office around 2:00 pm Monday after Karen Mechelle Moroney put a knife to his throat and told him that she would kill him if he touched her dogs.
When authorities arrived, they found two clever-style knives inside of her car.
Moroney was taken into custody on a charge of aggravated assault.
