As of Friday morning, Fred is still a tropical depression with 35 mph winds moving WNW over Cuba at 10 mph, but it is expected to strengthen into a Tropical Storm again once it clears Cuba.
There is a Tropical Storm Watch for the Florida Keys and Florida Bay has been upgraded to a Tropical Storm Warning.
Currently South Florida is under a flash flood advisory. Between today and Monday, up to six inches of rain could fall from the Keys to the Big Bend, and most of the rain is expected tomorrow.
Jen and Bill spoke live with Dennis Feltgen at the National Hurricane center at 8:30 this morning for the latest on Fred.
