(PAMPLONA, SPAIN) — A 25-year-old Broward County man was gored during the Running Of The Bulls festival this week in Pamplona, Spain.

The man, from Sunrise, took a horn to the calf during the four minute charge.

Each morning six bulls chase thousands of runners for a half-mile to the city’s bullring.

The bulls are running to their ultimate death because they are later killed by professional bullfighters, or toreros.

The each race takes less than four minutes and the event is as dangerous as it looks.

Five people, including one on Tuesday, have been gored during the six races so far this year, according to the local authorities.

At least two dozen people have been treated for other injuries.
