(JONESBOROUGH, TN)– A pro skydiver has died following a hard landing at a high school football game.
The incident occurred during a pre-jump at the David Crockett High School football stadium on Friday.
According to the report, the skydiver suffered a rough landing despite his parachute opening and everything working.
The skydiver was airlifted to the hospital for his injuries and later died.
A moment of silence was held at the game.
Jump TN reported that the victim worked with the company and had more than 1,500 jumps under his belt.
He has not publicly been identified at this time.
