DELRAY BEACH, Fla. — Delray Beach police are still on the lookout for an armed individual who shot and killed two at an Independence Day block party late Monday night.

The shooting occurred in the 100-block of SW 3rd ave, just two blocks south of Atlantic Ave.

Police say that one victim died at the scene, and the other passed away at the hospital just hours later.

Hundreds of people attended the block party, many of whom heard the shots fired and fled the area.

The investigation is ongoing.
