Palm Beach Sheriff’s Office Renews Plea for Help on Dead Woman’s Case

The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office is renewing a plea for help in solving the case of 20-year-old Jenna Jacobsen, the woman was was found dead near Lantana last year, after having been missing for nearly a month.

PBSO posted about Jacobsen in May of 2019, saying that she was last seen on April 25, 2019. On May 30 of last year, workers found human remains buried in a shallow grave near a Lantana scrub area were identified as Jacobsen.

Officials now say Jacobsen was last seen with her boyfriend, Zachary Davison, in a back alleyway near the area of South East Coast Ave. and 8th Avenue S.

At that time, Davison is said to have fled the area on foot, although he was eventually caught and arrested for an outstanding warrant from New Jersey.

Jacobsen’s father has told investigators that his daughter was in Lake Worth Beach seeking treatment for drug abuse.

A medical examiner did not specify Jacobsen’s cause of death. However, the case is being investigated as a homicide.
