Willie Garson’s family has announced how he died.
According to the New York Times obituary, his family wrote the 57-year-old actor, whose legal name was William Garson Paszamant, died at his home in Los Angles.
The obituary revealed that he died from pancreatic cancer.
Garson was best known for his character Stanford Blatch, Carrie Bradshaw’s male best friend.
“For the last four decades, he appeared in over 300 television shows and over 70 films,” according to the obituary notes.
Garson’s family has requested that all tribute donations be made in his name to the Alliance for Children’s Rights.
