Semmie Williams indicted for murder of Ryan Rodgers

The suspect in the random stabbing death of a Palm Beach Gardens boy has been indicted by a grand jury.
Palm Beach County State Attorney Dave Aronberg says that 39-year-old Semmie Williams Jr. has been indicted on a charge of first-degree murder which is punishable by up to life in prison or the death penalty if convicted.
Homeless drifter, 39 year-old Williams, is accused of killing the 14-year-old boy Nov. 15 after he went out for a bicycle ride and never returned home.

Rogers’ body was discovered lying next to his bicycle the next day in a wooded area off Central Boulevard near the Interstate 95 overpass.
Initially police thought he had been hit by a car, then the autopsy revealed he had been stabbed.
Law enforcement was able to connect Williams to the crime scene via DNA and tracked him in Miami Dade County by monitoring his social media.
