A security guard has been fired from her job after she was caught on camera stealing from a resident.
Police say the event happened inside Quayside Tower Four in Miami-Dade sometime last week during an emergency.
According to the report, an 83-year-old woman was injured when she fell inside of the trash room at the establishment. A neighbor found the woman and grabbed security personnel who then contacted the paramedics.
As the paramedics reportedly worked on the woman, she requested that the security guard hand her, her bag.
The security guard removed the bag from the trash room and placed it in the hallway. She then walked back over to the bag and grabbed something inside of it before placing it in her pocket.
No charges have been filed against the guard at this time, however, she was fired from her position.
