
Housing and Urban Development Secretary Ben Carson has reportedly tested positive for the coronavirus on Monday morning. The news was confirmed by ABC who spoke with Carson’s deputy chief of staff who told them the Carson was experiencing symptoms but is “in good spirits and feels fortunate to have access to effective therapeutics which aid and markedly speed his recovery.”

It is unclear how Carson got the virus, however, it was reported that he attended a Trump administration party where Mark Meadows who also attended the gathering, tested positive for the virus last week. Five other Trump administration aides are also said to have tested positive for the virus around Election Day.
