Reports say Hernandez’s parachute did not fully open during that final jump.
A teammate told television station WJXT that Hernandez had nearly 30 years of skydiving experience.
He was preparing to participate in a charity skydiving event called “Krawl’n for the Fallen.” The event’s goal is to pay tribute to families of fallen officers.
