The U.S. Coast Guard is reporting that they have located the body of a diver who was reported missing on Thursday.
58-year-old Robert Macintyre was reported missing around 10:30 a.m. while diving near the Lake Worth Inlet.
Officials say Macintyre was with a group of divers in a charter boat from the Jupiter Dive Center.
According to the report, the dive was supposed to last between 35 to 45 minutes but Macintyre never resurfaced.
The Coast Guard, PBSO, and Jupiter Police Department worked together in an effort to locate Macintyre.
The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office reported that Macintyre’s body was recovered around 3:30 p.m. Friday about 3 miles off of the Jupiter Inlet.
