School staff member placed on administrative leave for alleged misconduct

Administrative staff at Jupiter Christian School have placed a staff member on administrative leave pending an investigation into alleged inappropriate misconduct.

According to school’s statement:  “This is an ongoing investigation, and we are working closely with law enforcement to provide them all the information they need. The safety and security of students in our care remains our utmost priority.”

School president Seth Cohen, sent out a message to the school community saying that staff members were made aware of the situation on Thursday:
“As President, my first obligation is to ensure the safety of all students. This is my top priority,” said Cohen. “You can be sure that we take this and all such allegations seriously. We are following all mandatory reporting protocols in connection with these allegations and the proper authorities have been notified. No further details can be shared at this time due to the nature of the ongoing investigation.”
The staff member has been placed on administrative leave as the investigation continues.
