School bus driver reportedly paid students to swab their cheeks for COVID

A school bus driver is currently being investigated after she reportedly paid students to allow her to swab their mouths for COVID-19.

Investigators were alerted to the situation after an eighth grader told their parents that they were paid to let the driver mouth swab them and take their personal information.

The Charlotte-Mecklenburg School District (CMS) is reporting that the drivers actions were not approved by CMS or the schoolboard.

As of now, authorities are reporting that they found nearly 12 dozen students were paid to get let the driver swab their mouths but they believe there may be more victims.

They are now conducting a full investigation of the driver’s bus route.
