(WEST PALM BEACH, FLA) — Thousands of runners are finishing the year in style this weekend by competing in the Garden of Life SunRun 5K Challenge or a fast, flat 10K on Saturday. Then on Sunday morning, serious runners will compete in the Palm Beaches Marathon, which is a Boston Marathon qualifying event. In addition to the marathon, there will also be a Half Marathon or groups of friends can conquer the 26.2 miles along the downtown waterfront as a relay team.
The Garden of Life Palm Beaches Marathon course winds through downtown West Palm Beach, through historic areas and quaint neighborhoods. Runners will enjoy shaded city streets like palm-lined Flagler Drive past the Manatee Lagoon, museums and parks with shimmering water views and beautiful architecture. The course is100% flat plus 100% beautiful…important for runners. And at the end of the line some beautiful hardware.

The marathon begins SUNDAY DECEMBER 11, 2022 | 6:00AM. The Marathon course is USATF certified and ranked 2nd fastest in Florida. Also, an experienced pace team will help help runners trying to qualify for the Boston achieve their goal.

Flagler Drive between Banyan Boulevard and Lakeview Avenue will be closed from 10AM Friday, December 9 until Monday, December 12.
