RIVIERA BEACH- One woman is dead and three others were injured after shots rang out following an apparent car chase and crash along Avenue E. near W. 24th Street Tuesday afternoon.

Police initially responded to reports of a shooting in the 2300 block of Avenue E off Broadway, while the car crash occurred about a block away.

It is not clear if the shooting victim was an innocent bystander or was involved in the incident.

Three people from the crashed card were transported to St. Mary’s Medical Center.

Investigators are still piecing together information from the two crime scenes.
