Riviera Beach shooting keeps police on their toes

(WEST PALM BEACH, Florida)– An alleged suspect in the deadly shooting of another man in West Palm Beach was arrested after he fled to nearby Riviera Beach, where he laid low in an apartment to evade police.

Reginald Davilman, 40, was arrested Monday on charges of first-degree murder and for prior felony charges while in possession of a firearm.

Detective Darrin MacCarthy said the getaway vehicle was seen a short time later in the 700 blocks of 58 MacCarthy said Davilman tried to hide inside the apartment before eventually jumping out of the window.

He was taken into custody and identified by a witness in a photographic lineup, according to MacCarthy.
