Officials in Palm Springs are currently searching for a suspect who reportedly robbed a man while he was washing his vehicle in the drive way of his home.

The robbery was reported to have taken place on February 2nd along Laura Lane just south of Forest Hill BLVD.

According to the report, the suspect approached the victim with what appeared to be a rifle and demanded the man’s 20-inch Cuban link gold necklace. After the victim handed over the necklace, the suspect ran to a black 4-door sedan and fled the scene.

Authorities believe the sedan may have been a Toyota or a Corolla.
