As agencies including the FBI look for answers about the Astroworld Music Festival tragedy in Houston, attention remains focused on the rapper who organized and headlined the event, Travis Scott.
Forty minutes after police had declared a ‘mass casualty event,’ Travis Scott finally stopped the music as fans were passing out and being trampled in front of the stage.
A day later, Scott said on social media: “I am honestly just devastated and I could never imagine anything like this just happening.”
But Houston’s KTRK-TV reports that Scott went to an after party following the disaster.

The ABC affiliate quotes sources as saying that the rapper didn’t know about the deaths and that he left the party when he found out.
Also, the death toll from the Astroworld concert may climb to 9 or 10. A 22-year-old victim is brain dead and on life support.
Bharti Shahani’s family says she suffered multiple heart attacks and they are considering pulling the plug. Another victim, nine-year-old Erza Blount, is in a medically-induced coma after being trampled. Scott said he’s devastated by what happened and has offered to pay for the funeral costs. Currently the death toll stands at 8.
