(Los Angeles, CA) — A new report is expected to be released today that shows Tiger Woods was going nearly double the speed limit when he crashed his vehicle earlier this year in the Los Angeles area.

TMZ says Tiger was going 83 miles per hour in a 45 mile per hour zone during the crash in February. The report states Woods may have accidentally hit the gas instead of the brake as he attempted to gain control of the vehicle.

The LA Sheriff confirmed that there was no toxicology report and Tiger’s phone was not accessed to determine if he was texting at the time of the wreck.

TMZ also says the famous golfer gave his permission for the accident report to be released publicly.

The 45-year-old golf legend suffered severe injuries, but won’t face any charges or citations.
