Officials in Tampa are reporting that they have arrested a rapper who killed two people after a recording session in a home shed.
The incident was reported on Thursday in Hillsborough County.
Hillsborough County Sheriff Chad Chronister told reporters that the suspect Billy Bennett Adams III, and the two victims were recording in the studio when after the session ended, Adams reportedly pulled out a gun and shot both of the victims.
While the victims were not identified, Sheriff Chronister said at least one of the victims and Adams identify as members of the Crips gang and that he believes the shooting had something to do with a gang feud.
” This was a violent execution this suspect performed, and although the attack was clearly targeted, we will not allow gang-related disputes to disrupt the comfort and safety of innocent residents in any of our communities,” Chronister said in a press release.
Adams III has is now facing two counts of premediated first-degree murder with a firearm and one count of burglary of a structure.
