A Pembroke Pines psychiatric patient is facing attempted murder charges after he attacked another patient at a hospital.
The incident occurred on Tuesday at the South Florida State Hospital at 800 Cypress Drive.

When fire rescue transferred the patient to Memorial Regional Hospital in Hollywood, however, medical staff found that the patient actually had head injuries.

They later found that another patient at the South Florida State Hospital,
63-year-old Alexander Ramseur attacked the resident.
Ramseur was taken into custody around 11 p.m. on attempted murder charges.
He remains at the Broward County jail with no bond.
