White House press secretary Jen Psaki corrected a FOX news reporter who asked if President Biden had a sense that it was his fault that Americans are stranded in Afghanistan.
She told Peter Doocy, Americans are not stranded because we are texting with them.

The exact number of Americans stranded behind enemy lines in Afghanistan is still unknown, but government officials should be able to count the texts and calls.

Unfortunately U.S. House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff doesn’t think the U.S. will be able to complete its evacuation of Afghanistan by the Taliban’s deadline of August 31st.

the Taliban has drawn a red line on the evacuation date at the end of the month. The Biden administration has stressed that it will get every American out who wants to leave.
