President Trump is expected to hold a press conference Friday afternoon around 2:30pm.

According to our news partners at WPTV, the conference will be about lowering the price of prescription drugs.

President Trump has often advocated for lower prescription drug prices and even considered making it an option to get prescription drugs from other countries to make prices more competitive.

Trump plans to roll out two final rules which will both curb rebates paid to the middleman in Medicare and that will directly target the prices of certain prescription drugs.

It will be his first press conference since November 13th where he spoke about the Coronavirus pandemic.

He has held four other press conferences since election night, however, he did not take any questions from the press.

It is unclear if he will take questions from the press during this press conference.
