Monterey Park, CA– President Biden is expected to sign a new executive order on gun control Tuesday.
The order is an effort to curb gun violence by increasing background checks for those purchasing guns, promoting more secure firearms storage, and making sure law enforcement agencies can make the most of the bipartisan bill that was put in place last summer.

The bill is expected to keep guns out of the hands of domestic violence offenders and help states enact red flag laws.
President Biden is expected to speak about the executive order today in Monterey Park, California, where a gunman killed 11 people and injured nine during a Lunar New Year celebration at a dance hall in January.
