(WASHINGTON, D.C.) – President Biden has tested positive for COVID-19 and is currently experiencing “very mild symptoms”, the White House stated early Thursday.
The White House says he’s fully vaccinated and has been boosted twice.
Biden is taking the antiviral medication, Paxlovid, to fight serious COVID symptoms. Biden turns 80-years-old in November.
The President was due to travel to Florida on Monday. There’s no official word yet on the status of that trip.
