President Biden nods off at the COP26 summit in Glasgow

U.S. President Joe Biden is living up to Donald Trump’s nickname for him, “Sleepy Joe.”
The president was filmed nodding off during the opening speeches at the COP26 summit in Glasgow on Monday.
Biden closed his eyes and slumbered for a hot minute while seated in a large conference center in Glasgow before an aide approached and roused him.
Trump implied the snooze indicates Biden doesn’t truly believe global warming is a dire threat.

“Even Biden couldn’t stand hearing so much about the Global Warming Hoax, the 7th biggest Hoax in America, followed closely behind by the 2020 Presidential Election Scam, Russia, Russia, Russia, Ukraine, Ukraine, Ukraine, Impeachment Hoax #1, Impeachment Hoax #2 and, of course, the ‘No Collusion’ finding of the Mueller Report,” Trump said in an email blast.

“Biden went to Europe saying Global Warming is his highest priority, and then promptly fell asleep, for all the world to see, at the Conference itself. Nobody that has true enthusiasm and belief in a subject will ever fall asleep!”

Mr. Biden flew from Rome where he had attended the G20 to Scotland where he napped alongside many of the world leaders in attendance at COP.
Meanwhile, at home Biden is unsuccessfully pushing a $1.75 trillion social spending package that contains $555 billion in proposed environmental spending and a $1.2 trillion Senate-passed bipartisan infrastructure bill that would finance weather resiliency programs, $7.5 billion in new electric vehicle charging stations and $5 billion for electric school buses.
