
FORT LAUDERDALE, FL– A man wanted in connection with the shooting death of a victim at a Port St. Lucie home has been killed by police in Fort Lauderdale.
Officials conducted a traffic stop on 38-year-old Manuel Sanabria in Fort Lauderdale after recognizing his vehicle on Tuesday.
Sanabria led officers on a short chase before losing control of his vehicle and veering onto a business property. He then struck several vehicles and a pedestrian before getting out of his vehicle.
Sanabria reportedly engaged with officers and was shot during the exchange.
He was taken to an area hospital where he later died.
Authorities say Sanabria shot and killed a man on Monday who went to his residence to visit another resident.
Officials say the man was found dead in his vehicle by the other resident.
According to some reports, the victim was at the home to visit his wife.
