The West Palm Beach Police Department says they are currently searching for a suspect after

The incident occurred around 6:00 pm Sunday in the 700 block of Executive Center Drive.

According to the report, the victim was working on his vehicle in front of his home when the armed suspect approached him and tried to rob him.

The victim and the suspect began fighting which resulted in the victim being shot by the suspect.

The victim was taken to an area hospital for treatment on non-life threatening injuries.

The suspect described as a thin black male in his 20’s then fled the area.
