Authorities in Palm Beach County are currently searching for a suspect who shot another driver during a road rage incident.

The incident occurred Sunday on the westbound lanes of Southern Boulevard  just before Crestwood Boulevard in Royal Palm Beach.

The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office says that a the suspect driving a black vehicle shot at a white vehicle near the Burger King in the area. The driver in the white vehicle was struck by the bullet and rushed to an area hospital where they are expected to survive.

Authorities are now searching for the other driver.
