AURORA, CO– Police are searching for a man who they say sprayed two customers with gasoline because they were speaking Spanish.
The incident occurred at the Rocket Gas Station at 1100 S. Havana St., on July 23 around 11:00 p.m.
Police say the suspect confronted the victims inside of the service station telling them that “they don’t belong here.” He then proceeded to follow them outside.
Once outside, the suspect sprayed the two men with gasoline and tried to set them on fire using a lighter.
The report also stated that the suspect broke a window on the victim’s car and stole their keys.
