(BOCA RATON, FLA) — A deadly hit-and-run crash Wednesday morning has left one person dead, and authorities looking for those responsible.

According to the Boca Raton police, an individual was struck and killed while crossing the street in the 2300 block of Glades Road, just west of Interstate 95 around 6:30 am.

The driver left the scene of the incident in a light-colored Nissan Rogue 2008 to 2014 model.

Police say the front of the vehicle is likely damaged from the impact.

Jessica Desir, the public information officer for the Boca Raton Police Department, said, “Our traffic homicide investigators are working really hard today to put the pieces together and bring justice to the victim, the victim’s family,”
