Police in Texas are reporting that a missing woman’s dog helped them find her during a three-day search.
63-year-old Sherry Noppe went missing on Tuesday after walking her dog at the George Bush Park in Harris County.
Her family told investigators that while Noppe does suffer from dementia, she is very familiar with the trails at the park.
Tracking dogs were said to have picked up her scent on Thursday, however, Noppe was not found until 3:00 a.m. when authorities heard her dog barking.
According to the report, Noppe was cold and scared when she was found.
She has since been transported to an area hospital for an evaluation.
