Plane crashes along Broward roadway, two people survive

The pilot of a small plane was forced to set it down on a roadway in Broward County Monday night. Fortunately, no one on the ground was injured.
Two people survived a plane crash in Miramar last night, but the plane is a total loss, according to WPLG Channel 10.
Miramar police say the the Cessna 172 Skyhawk crashed on the sidewalk along Palm Avenue, just north of Miramar Parkway.
The plane was badly damaged, the prop fell off and the tail is barely attached. The wings are still intact.
Official say the plane departed Naples airport around 9:30 p.m. and was supposed to arrive at North Perry airport in Hollywood at 10:30 p.m., but never made it.
At this time the we know the two souls on board are alive but we don’t know their condition. Miramar fire rescue transported two people to Hollywood Memorial.
