After a two year hiatus the 38th SunFest is back in the Palm Beaches, and so are the crowds and the crooks.

A Hialeah man is accused of stealing phones at SunFest in West Palm Beach.

West Palm Beach police say Jose Garcia stole three cellphones valued at about $4000 and unloaded them them as a police sergeant approached him late Friday night.

Mike Jachles, a spokesman for the WPB police department is warning festival goers to beware of pickpockets wearing backpacks on the prowl zig-zagging their way through the crowds.

Garcia, 28, was booked shortly before 4:35 a.m., on Saturday at the main detention center, according to PBSO. He is facing a grand theft charge.

Fifty bands are performing including names like Lil Wayne and Adam Lambert.
