The Broward Sheriff’s Office is reporting that a one person is dead after they were struck by a train in Pompano.
The incident occurred on Wednesday at South Dixie Highway near Atlantic Boulevard around 3:00 a.m.
According to CBS Miami, the victim was lying on the tracks before they were struck by a FEC train.
Homicide detectives are investigating the incident.
The victim has not been named.
