One person is hospitalized after being struck by a boat near Juno Beach on Thursday evening, according to Palm Beach County Fire Rescue.

The incident happened at 6:30 p.m. on Lake Little Worth, a small lake located north of A1A and west of U.S. 1 Highway 1.

Firefighters said the patient, identified as an adult male, was transported to a local trauma hospital for treatment.
