As of Friday, it looks like the Pentagon has plans to help fund the construction of a Southern border wall.

Officials say they will be diverting $1.5 billion in funds to the project, some of which will come from an intercontinental ballistic missile system and a surveillance plane system.

Acting Defense Secretary Patrick Shanahan told reporters on Friday that “We have very smart people here in the department, and we found ways to do this without having any impact on readiness.”

Are you confident that the funding shift won’t impact military readiness? As of today, where do you stand on the border wall issue? Has your view shifted in recent months and if so, what changed your mind?
